Room for rent: Why live anywhere else?! (NE Portland) $375

$375 – 1 room open in 4 bedroom – close to everything

The House: Two story, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, unfinished basement w/

washer dryer lots of storage. Detached garage (we don't put cars in

it, mostly just storage area). Nice sized living room and dining room,

dishwasher. Small backyard but decent sized front yard.

We are a block away from Grant Park in NE. Great neighborhood. Plenty

of street parking. #10 bus stop a block away, close to 84.

Money: $375 a month, plus utilities.

Nick: I'm the only dude in the house. I'm 25. I'm loud, and I think

I'm hilarious. Everyone else thinks I'm funny too, except for my

roommate Erin (more on her later). My job lets me work whatever hours

I want, so I usually stay up late, and sleep in frequently. I drink a

lot, but not as much as I used to. Favorite TV show: Seinfeld.

Favorite movie: Pulp Fiction. Favorite musician: Jay-Z.

Jessica: 26 years old, 8-5pm job, loves to play and watch sports.

Likes to travel, watch more TV than she should, and go out for drinks

at new bars. Favorite food: olives. Favorite thing to collect: glass

soda bottles. Favorite city to visit: San Francisco.

Erin: 25 years old, works at a restaurant full-time. Loves to

shop, read, dance, and cook a big dinner once a week for all

of our friends. Favorite food: meatball sub. Favorite holiday:

Thanksgiving. Favorite sport: roller derby.

What we are looking for:

We enjoy hanging out with a wide variety of people, and we're sure

there are a lot of prospective roommates out there that we could get

along with. We really want someone who will do more than pay rent on

time and say "hello/goodbye" when we pass in the hallway. We want

another friend. Someone who will chill with us. Watch TV. Go to a

movie. Occasionally party too hard and share some embarrassing

moments.

No smoking. No pets. No drugs.

So that about sums it up. Now you know who we are and what we're

looking for. We would prefer to meet you in person, before deciding who to rent the room to.
