room for rent in a two bedroom, one bath apartment. the room is 115 square feet, (a little over 9"x12"). it is shady and private, with a large window facing a small green space between us and the hedge of the building next door. the living room is furnished with a stereo, TV, DVD, VCR, and computer. The kitchen has all the tools you could need, with cupboard space for food and more tools. bills have been about $50 each in this cold, which covers electric and internet.

there is a small storage closet in the pay laundry room. we are one of five units in a 70's-style apartment building. our neighbors are mainly twentysomething students. noise isn't too bad, though music until 2 am is not uncommon. the landlord doesn't allow pets, sorry.

the move-in is $400 prorated from february first, plus the deposits. there is a $125 non-refundable deposit, and a $250 refundable deposit. all told, move-in for today (2/12) is $603. the landlord requires that you get on the month-to-month rental agreement, but you should be fine if you don't have evictions. i think the property management company does a $25 fee for the background check, but they're just looking for steady rent payment. they took me, and my credit is terrible.
