Two of our housemates (a couple) are moving out. So we are looking for a new housemate (or couple) to share this amazing N.E. home.
Who we are:
Two women in their 50's and one male in his 40's.
We're an open-minded group with vibrant and busy lives. We are health-conscious (but not militant) and eat a variety of wholesome foods. Currently we eat everything from raw/vegan to cooked meat. We compost and recycle. In the spring/summer we like to grow what we can in small raised beds.
With two cats in the house, we would prefer not to have any more pets.
We're looking for a housemate who is:
- Independent yet interested in occasional, spontaneous meals together. If you like gardening, that’s a plus.
- Cooperative, responsible, upbeat, and able to express feelings without games or drama.
The House:
- Spacious with lots of deck, secluded backyard and a hot tub
- Well-equipped with updated fixtures, filtered hot/cold water, laundry facilities, wireless internet access, two bathrooms
- One-minute walk to the Kennedy School (McMenamins)
- Five-minute walk to New Seasons and close to Alberta Arts district
- One-minute walk from several bus lines, but not on the main road
The Room (upstairs):
- Has a glass door to a deck and tree house overlooking the back yard/garden
- Has three closets and hardwood floors
- Has ample space: 13 x 15’
- Base rent is $450.00 (for 1 person), ($550 for 2 people) and with utilities is approximately $550.00 (for 1 person). We split the cost of utilities.
