I am looking for a female roommate to share my inner SE two bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment located near SE 20th and SE Belmont in the Buckman neighborhood. The room will be available after February 14th.
About the Apartment:
This spacious two bedroom, 1.5-bathroom apartment is on the lower level of a Victorian duplex. There is a #15 bus stop about two blocks away and it is about a 10 min drive to downtown. It is close to cafes and shops and within walking distance of a grocery store. The gorgeous kitchen has a gas stove top and oven and there is a lot of cabinet space. The living room is full of windows and lets in a lot of light. There is also limited storage space in the basement. The gas and electric bills average $60-$70 each in the winter, they are much less in the summer. The landlord pays for water and garbage.
About the room:
The room for rent is carpeted and is approx. 11’x 14’ with a closet and a window and shares the full bath with the other bedroom. You are free to use the communal areas of the apartment as well.
About me:
I am a 28-year-old female. I’m pretty laid back and lead a somewhat quite lifestyle, so it would be great if you did too. I’m liberal, but not crazy like. I like to keep things fairly neat, but I’m not a clean freak. I’m also a non-smoker. If you do smoke, you’ll have to take it outside, landlord’s rule. I like to cook and just recently finished my first short documentary film. I have one elderly male cat named Pasha who sheds a bit, so if you are allergic it might be a problem.
About you:
You are responsible about paying your bills on time and are looking for a roommate to chat with sometimes, and not just share space. I am asking for a reference, I apologize for any inconvenience.
