Female roommate needed for March 1st. **Free heat and water** (NE Close in/ Lloyd area) $425

Looking for a mature, responsible femme roommate for the second bedroom in a cute, 1940s Sullivan's Gulch townhouse! (Just one, no couples or children.)

$300 refundable deposit/ $40 dollar application fee

$425 rent

W/S/G and heat are included

only utilities are electric and internet (approx $50 a month for both)

1940s era townhouse

all hardwood floors

original tile in kitchen & bath

off-street, assigned parking

basement storage unit

small front porch

coin-op laundry in basement

corner situated, so lots of windows

one friendly kitty

quiet neighborhood

outdoor smoking only

plenty of room for your stuff

no dogs allowed by management

Your room:

Upstairs with hardwood floors, southern exposure, sizeable closet, and radiator heat. Three white walls and one gorgeous turquoise wall (we can paint all we want, so feel free to change that!)

Area:

Quiet, friendly neighbors in a beautiful neighborhood only a ten minute walk from Fareless Square (perfect for students or those who work downtown) Near bus lines 8, 10, 9 and 12. Also only a few blocks from shops and restaurants on NE Broadway (Sushiland, Rose & Thistle, Peets coffee, Chai Yo, etc), and six blocks to Fred Meyer! Plenty of room outside for both container and ground gardening if you're so inclined. (I grow lots of tomatoes all summer, and my last roomie grew flowers, herbs, and a few squashes and beans.)

Me:

33-year old female, employed and planning on grad school in the fall. Down to earth, active, enjoys dancing, eating good food, and art. Queer/bi/trans friendly. I'm not vegan and do eat and cook meat in the apartment. I try to practice sustainable living (recycling, organics), but am not dogmatic. I value a quiet home where I can relax after a hard day of work and do not appreciate a non-stop flow of company, I like to keep it mellow here. I watch some TV and movies, but often just kick it listening to music.

You:

One person, preferably female, mature and responsible. Bills paid on time and gainfully employed. Tidy and like cats. (I will consider a caged pet, or even another cat-socialized kitty; my last roomie's kitty could not deal with other cats, and it wasn't fun for anyone.) No hard drugs or drama, please! Queer/bi/trans-friendly, and not self-righteous. Easy-going, communicative, and self-sufficient, helps buy TP when needed. We don't need to become great friends and hang out with each other all the time but it's good to get along.

e mail me if interested and happy hunting!
